ANCILLARY PRODUCTS

At Pennine we have always endeavoured to make our decorative floorings range a ‘One Stop Shop’, everything you could need to install, finish and maintain a floor with just one ‘phone call to our sales office.

To keep your hardwood floor looking good in many years time it may be necessary to fine sand and re-seal it. Pennine can supply all of the materials from stock for delivery next day.

Of all the manufacturers Quick-Step have by far the largest selection of matching trims; scotia, nosing, skirting, fitting kits, underlay, pipe covers, maintenance kits……the list is endless. Here is just a selection of some of their products.
	COMBIFLOOR A good all rounder, 3mm thick with a vapour barrier attached, 15 sq mtr rolls
UNISOUND Dense white underlay with moisture barrier attached. Excellent acoustic properties, 2mm thick in 15sq mtr rolls.
	TRANSITSOUND Blue in colour, designed to reduce “drum” noise. 3mm thick with d.p.m. attached, 15 sq mtr rolls.
INCIZO TRIMS Developed by Quick-Step, one profile that can be adapted to meet four different finishing requirements.
	HIGH SKIRTING 90mm x 18mm with hidden fixing clips.

	WHISPERWALK PADS Help even out cupped timber boards for a flatter laying surface and reduce sound being transferred to rooms below.
	CONTRACT TRANSITION PROFILES Three different sections all durable to stand up to the heavy traffic found in contract locations.
	SAFESEAL Installed in the joints in areas that make become damp, helps repel ingress of moisture into the HDF core.

One of the very first manufacturers of laminate and hardwood trims in the U.K. and probably still the market leader. Available in aluminium, anodised and solid hardwood sections, we supply many of their profiles for finishing our Haro parquet range.

METAL TRIMS

Ramp, Transition and edge profiles in silver anodised,
polished aluminium, gold anodised and antique bronze finish.
Different heights of floor are easily catered for.

HARDWOOD TRIMS

The usual door and perimeter profiles combined with an excellent selection of nosing profiles. Many tropical and temperate hardwoods, or stained oak finish produce an exciting line up.


	Cush’n’Wood, a dense 4mm polymer foam with built in moisture barrier, probably the best on the market.


	Specifically designed for installing solid plank flooring over solid concrete or asphalt floors, taking away the need to take the risk of sticking down this type of flooring. Elastilon has an adhesive backing protected by a paper coating, peel back the coating and press your boards on to the underlay to produced a solid, floating floor!

BARRIER PLUS
	A very competitively priced 3mm thick underlay with built in d.p.m. Used in conjunction with our Haro Tritty laminate flooring.


	The market leader when it comes to water-based, low odour floor lacquer but also offering a comprehensive range of abrasives. Whether you're using a 200mm or 300mm drum sander, a 200mm or 250mm belt sander or a 180mm disc sander, we have the sandpaper in stock from 24 grit to 120 grit.
	Bonatech Mega. Self crosslinking, rapid drying, low odour floor seal for heavy domestic and light commercial applications. Available in matt or silk.
	Bonatech Traffic. Like Mega it is rapid drying and low odour. Separate cross linker (catalyst) makes for a very heavy duty floor seal.

Ronseal is a very familiar name to most British households, particularly well known for Ronseal Hardglaze which has been re-branded as Ronseal Floor Lacquer for the flooring trade. Available in 5 & 20 ltr containers in gloss or silk finish.
	Water-Borne Floor Seal. A very competitively priced low odour, quick-drying floor lacquer in silk finish only. Suitable for heavy domestic use only.
	Quick-Cure. Many water based seals are quick-drying but this one reaches 100% cure in only 12 hours, whereas others on the market take 2-3 days. Matt, Silk or Gloss finish.
	High Traffic. Two pack floor lacquer for heavy contract locations. Gloss, Silk or Matt finish.

In addition, adhesives, radiator pipe covers, tools, fitting kits and maintenance products are all carried in stock for whichever flooring product we supply.
